Dear Donor,

As the FC crew team begins training for the spring season, the Club felt it was important to reflect on the prior year and to make an additional commitment to help our community and friends.

As you probably know, two members within our crew family have been diagnosed with different forms of cancer.  In order to support these individuals and other survivors with our crew family and community, the Fox Chapel Crew Club is proud to announce the first annual FC Biathlon to benefit the Hillman Cancer Institute and Gilda’s House. The event will take place on Saturday March 24, 2007 at the Fox Chapel High School.  The Biathlon will include rowing and running events, and will have both competitive and participation divisions so that friends and family of all ages will be able to participate.

At this time, we are seeking partners from the community and families to help us reach our goal of raising $10,000 for charity.  We are a registered non-profit organization and your tax deductible donation will be recognized on the day of the race and by the Club.  Would you please consider either a personal and/or business contribution to help the Club meet its fundraising goal.  Also, please join our Crew family at the Biathlon to show our support for all of the participants.

Please send donations to : Steven Mcarthy

Hope to see you on the 24th of March and thank you, in advance, for your support.

                                                                              Sincerely,
