Dr. Mark Bellinger            Head Coach

Coaching and Rowing Experience

For the past twelve years, Mark has been at the helm of the Foxes, establishing the team as one of the most competitive high school programs in the area and in the Midwest. He has a US Rowing level three coaching certification.

Personal

Mark lives in Fox Chapel with his wife, Cathy, our team’s registrar. He has four children and two grandchildren who live in Boston. Mark participates in sweep and sculling at Three Rivers Rowing.


Jesse Foglia            Men’s Head Coach

Coaching and Rowing Experience

A former Fox Chapel rower and team captain, Jesse had a very accomplished rowing career with the Foxes,  winning 19 medals and competing at the US Rowing Junior Nationals. Jesse is US Rowing level two certified.

Personal

Jesse is a student at Duquesne University, pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. He is the oldest of five siblings, two of whom row for Fox Chapel. Jesse is a self-employed carpenter, specializing in furniture building.


Sara Osier            Women’s Head Coach

Coaching and Rowing Experience

This is Sara's fifth year coaching the Foxes. She rowed with Duquesne University for three years and served as the team Captain in her senior year. She is accomplished in both sweep and sculling and is please to share her time and talent with our crew. Sara has a US Rowing level two coaching certification.

Personal

Sara is a speech-language pathologist. She works with toddler and preschool-aged children with hearing impairments at the DePaul School for Hearing and Speech in Shadyside.

Sara is new to our program in the fall of 2007. She is currently an active member of the Duquesne University crew and has been Captain of the Women's crew for the past two years.

Personal

Sara is enrolled in the Physical Therapy program at Duquesne University.
