Coaching and Rowing Experience
For the past twelve years, Mark has been at the helm of the Foxes, establishing the team as one of the most competitive high school programs in the area and in the Midwest. He has a US Rowing level three coaching certification.
Personal
Mark lives in Fox Chapel with his wife, Cathy, our team’s registrar. He has four children and two grandchildren who live in Boston. Mark participates in sweep and sculling at Three Rivers Rowing.
Chelsea Breitenbach Men's Coach

Coaching and Rowing Experience
Chelsea is a second year coach to Fox Chapel Crew this fall. She has coached for the Cincinnati Junior Rowing Club and coached the FC novice girls last year. Chelsea was a 3-year rower for Cincinnati Juniors, and competed at the US Junior Nationals. She is currently a third year rower on the Duquesne University Crew. Chelsea has won over 30 medals during her high school and college rowing career.
Personal
Chelsea is a Junior at Duquesne University, pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. Her home town is Cincinnati, Ohio.

This is Jessie's first year coaching with Fox Chapel. She rowed for three years with the Cincinnati Junior Rowing Club abd competed at the US Junior Nationals in the LT 4 and Varsity eight. Jesse is beginning her second year of rowing for the Duquesne University Crew.
Personal
Jesse is a sophomore at Duquesne pursuing a business degree with aspirations of becoming a criminal prosecutor. Her hometown in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Sara Shippen Women's Coach

Coaching and Rowing Experience
Sara returns to FC after coaching the Novice Women at Duquesne University Crew last year. Sara rowed for four years at Duquesne and was a team captain for two years. She has won many medals and coached both the Duquesne novices and FC JV and Varsity women to medals and to the Junior Nationals petitie finals.
Personal
Sara graduated from Duquesne University in May 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Health Sciences. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duquesne. Her Home town is Ipswich, MA.
Lauren Thorpe Women's coach

Lauren returns this year as an assistant coach, having served as a volunteer coach with the women's team last year. Lauren is a graduate of Duquesne University, where she rowed for four years. She rowed in the lightweight eight that won the A10 championship as a senior.

Lauren works as an Occupational Therapist at the Watson Institute in Sewickley.
